A reporter-and-photographer team from The China Press Malaysian newspaper had followed Dr Felix and his team to Bifengxia to file daily exclusives directly from the panda base. Turns out the reporter, Penny Ee, had emailed me to ask for an interview but I had declined at the time and suggested a later date for the interview. At Dr Felix’s suggestion, the interview went ahead in Bifengxia itself, and was published two days later.
